The series begins when Jedfera, an ancient Egyptian sorcerer, tries to destroy Shabbat as revenge against Am Israel for Yetziat Mitzraim. His spell partially succeeds—Shabbat disappears from the world but shrinks into a small bubble surrounding a synagogue in Jerusalem. Inside the bubble are a group of children (Inbar, Shahar, Rotem, Yotam, Yiftach, Itamar, Uri, and Shira), along with Rabbi Rimon.

The race begins: Jedfera must collect the shards to complete his spell and erase Shabbat forever, while the children race to stop him.

The series combines a thrilling adventure with a creative and engaging approach to learning the Halachot of Shabbat, with each episode focusing on a different core aspect of Shabbat.
